On 6 November 2010 the delegation headed by Yelena Dubrovina, member of the Central Election Commission of Russian Federation visited Mazahir Panahov, CEC Chairman.

CEC Chairman informed on great importance given to the observation of elections by CEC and expressed his gratitude of observing elections conducted in Azerbaijan by collaborators.

Y.Dubrovina asked for providing information on pre-election atmosphere in the country.

Chairman spoke thoroughly on the activities implemented for the preparation and conduct of elections by the CEC and told that electoral bodies were fully ready for the voting, all facilities were formed for the realization of voters’ active election rights.

At the meeting, view exchanges were held on perspectives of future cooperation with superior election bodies.
