Regarding the Municipal elections, appointed to January 29, 2025, the Central Election Commission is carrying out the projects on various fields within the frame of awareness-raising program for election stakeholders with different status.

According to large-scale program, the Central Election Commission compiled “Guide for Observers” in Azerbaijani and English languages.

The main goal of the implementation of the project is to raise the awareness of the observers who will monitor the Municipal elections, to further improve their independent activities and to provide them with methodical assistance.

The publication contains the main appropriate provisions and concepts of the Election Code, the principles of observation as defined in the legislation, as well as, the rights and duties of observers.

The guidebook is compiled on the relevant provisions of the Election Code and instructions, comments, rules and other legal documents approved by CEC.

“Guide for Observers” is available through lower election commissions, also via the CEC official webpage (www.msk.gov.az).
