Regarding the early Elections to the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan, appointed to September 1, 2024, the Central Election Commission is carrying out the projects on various fields within the frame of awareness-raising program for election stakeholders with different status.

According to large-scale program, the Central Election Commission compiled “Guide for Observers”.

The main goal of the implementation of the project is to raise the awareness of the observers who will monitor the elections to the Milli Majlis, to further improve their independent activities and to provide them with methodical assistance.

The publication printed in Azerbaijani, English and Russian contains the main appropriate provisions and concepts of the Election Code, the principles of observation, as well as, the rights and duties of observers.

The guidebook is based on the relevant provisions of the Election Code and instructions, comments, rules and other legal documents approved by CEC.

“Guide for Observers” is available through lower election commissions, also via the CEC official webpage (www.msk.gov.az).
