The Central Election Commission (CEC) conducted the next session chaired by Mr.Mazahir Panahov on August 5, 2024. Firstly, the Commission’s session minutes dated 3 August, 2024 were approved.

Later, the appeal entered the Central Election Commission regarding the early Elections to the  Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan on September 1, 2024 with the direct participation of the representatives of international observation missions and the interested subject were also reviewed. Following broad discussion by the Commission members, it was decided to implement the appeal, to annul the relevant Con.EC decision on the refusal from registering the candidate and to register that person for the Elections to the Milli Majlis.

It was informed on large-scale educational activities carried out in subsequent, systematic and intensive way and statistic data on the development of the processes, therewith, current issues were also considered at the session broadcasted efficiently by the media outlets.
