The Central Election Commission (CEC) conducted the session chaired by Mr. Mazahir Panahov on July 22, 2024. Firstly, the Commission’s session minute dated 19 July, 2024 was approved.

During the session the issue on the registration of the authorized representatives of “Mother Homeland” Party in regard with the early Elections to the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan, appointed to September 1, 2024 was also considered and the persons presented by the above-mentioned party were decided to be registered as authorized representatives.

The appeals submitted to the Central Election Commission regarding the upcoming elections were also considered at the session. The appeal was put to the session agenda within the period and manner determined by the election legislation and following extensive discussion by the members of the Commission with the participation of the interested subject, the appropriate decision was made.

During the session attended by representatives of foreign institutions and media outlets, statistical indicators on various issues in preparation for the Elections to the Milli Majlis were brought to the attention, as well as detailed information was provided on the large-scale educational program implemented by the Commission in a consistent and systematic manner.
