The Central Election Commission (CEC) conducted the session chaired by Mr. Mazahir Panahov on July 2, 2024.

Firstly, the Commission’s session minute dated 27 June, 2024 was approved. Later, the issue on the activities regarding some Constituency Election Commissions was considered. Following the discussions held and considering local and other conditions, therewith, taking into account the necessity of creating the most favorable conditions for voters, the relevant Con.ECs were commissioned with undertaking necessary activities in regard with the polling stations on 24 election constituencies as incompliance with the Election Code.

Furthermore, the issue on making amendments to some normative acts of CEC was considered and some normative acts were adjusted to the amendments made recently pursuant to the legislation.

During the Commission session the issue on the registration of the authorized representatives of Alternative (REAL) Party, White Party and Civil Solidarity Party in regard with the early Elections to the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan, appointed to September 1, 2024 was also considered. The persons presented by the above-mentioned parties were decided to be registered as authorized representatives.

During the session attended by the representatives of foreign organization and media outlets, the structures of some Constituency Election Commissions were made changes and current issues were also discussed.
