Following the invitation of the Chairman of the Central Election Commission of Uzbekistan, a large delegation headed by Mr. Mazahir Panahov, Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of the Republic of Azerbaijan is leaving for Tashkent on July 8, 2023.

The main goal of the visit is the meeting of Mr. Mazahir Panahov, Chairman of the Central Election Commission with his Uzbek counterpart, thereby to observe the early Presidential Elections to be held on July 9, 2023 as an international observer.

Within the framework of the visit, discussions and meetings by Chairman of the Central Election Commission of Azerbaijan are planned with the heads of organizations and election management bodies of foreign countries participating in the observation of the elections.

CEC representatives are also represented as a part of the Organization of Turkic States and the Commonwealth of Independent States.
