Information by Central Election Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan - 22.11.2014

The time period for submission of signature sheets and other election documents to the Constituency Election Commission for the registration of candidates to municipality membership in the Municipal Elections on December 23, 2014 finished today at 18.00 as implied by legislation.

It is worth noting that pursuant to the Election Code, the Con.EC shall adopt a grounded decision on the registration or refusal from registration of the candidate within 7 days after receiving signature sheets and other election documents for the candidate registration.

The registration process of candidates to municipality membership is underway and it is going to end on November 29, 2014.
